Is BRG only for 3000GT and Stealth owners?
Not at all! BRG started in the 3000GT/Stealth community, but ALL makes and models are welcome. If you love cars and driving, you belong here.
Do I need to register separately from booking my room?
Fontana Village is sold out for our dates. Call the resort at 1-800-849-2258 and tell them you're with the BRG group to ask about the waitlist. There may be a separate event registration — check the Facebook group for the latest info.
Is the Tail of the Dragon safe?
The Dragon is an amazing road but it demands respect. Prep your car (brakes, tires), drive within your limits, stay in your lane, and don't chase faster cars. There are no intersections but there IS oncoming traffic.
What's cell service like at Fontana?
Limited. AT&T works best, Verizon is spotty. Wi-Fi is available in common areas. Most people find the disconnect refreshing — you're here for the mountains and the cars.
Can I bring my family / non-car-person?
Absolutely. Fontana Village has pools, a lazy river, a lake, hiking, disc golf, and more. There's plenty to do even if you're not into cars (though you might become a convert).
Can I still get a room at Fontana?
The BRG block is sold out for July 8–13, 2026. Call Fontana Village directly at 1-800-849-2258 and mention you're with the BRG group — they can put you on the waitlist in case anyone releases a reservation. Also keep an eye on the Facebook group for members offloading bookings.
