25+ Years of BRG
What started as 8 cars on the Blue Ridge Parkway in 1999 became one of the most beloved automotive gatherings in the Southeast.
The Blue Ridge Gathering was born in 1999 when a handful of Mitsubishi 3000GT and Dodge Stealth enthusiasts decided to meet up and cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway together. That first summer, just 8 cars showed up — but the friendships formed on those mountain roads would last a lifetime.
By 2000, LineNoiz organized the first official BRG between Asheville, NC and Pigeon Forge, TN. 19 cars. A mountain cruise, a car show, go-kart racing, and dinner on the strip. The format was set. The tradition was born.
Over the years, BRG grew and moved — Pigeon Forge, Fontana Village, Nantahala, Tellico Plains — but the soul never changed. It was always about the people, the cars, and the roads. The Tail of the Dragon became our pilgrimage. The Cherohala Skyway became our cathedral. And the mountains became our home.
While BRG started in the 3000GT/Stealth community, the doors have always been open. Today, you'll see everything from JDM legends to American muscle to modern sports cars. Because at BRG, it's not about what you drive — it's about why you drive.

The 3000GT & Stealth Legacy
The cars that started it all
Mitsubishi 3000GT
Twin-turbo V6, all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering, active aerodynamics. The 3000GT VR-4 was Japan's answer to the supercar — and the car that brought this community together. Its combination of technology and raw performance was ahead of its time.
Dodge Stealth
The American twin of the 3000GT. Built on the same platform with Chrysler's badge, the Stealth R/T Twin Turbo shared the same heart and soul. Whether you drove a 3000GT or a Stealth, you were family. That spirit defines BRG to this day.
